Originally assumed that repair would require sand blasting or hand tooling, but location of the deck made those procedures cost prohibitive.

Neither CRS and C2M require any blasting or hand tooling. All that was necessary was to: power-wash, de-grease, and power-wash again. CRS was then applied. When dry, a topcoat of C2M was applied

BARGE PROJECT - CRS & C2M
All work was accomplished through water blasting and de-greasing. No abrasive blasting or grinding was conducted during this project.

Pressure washing and degreaser were used for prep
The deck was fully repaired at dockside without sand blasting or grinding
Maxon anti-corrosive was spray applied to the deck
Maxon C2M is a robust anti-corrosive, flexible, direct to metal cement
Maxon CRS bonds with and pacifies the rust and adheres to the metal substrate
After drying [3 hours at 70F] Maxon C2M was applied with a roller.

BOLLARD REPAIR

Here, a very light application of CRS is used along with C2M for increased durability. Our special epoxy, containing kevlar fibers and ceramic microspheres in Safety Yellow is used to cover the entire bollard to provide extreme resistance to abrasion, ensuring years of trouble-free service. VLS was also used to loosen the bolts to remove the bollard, removing the need to cut or weld new mounting.
