Photos were taken by EAG Labs in El Segundo California. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to capture the penetration of CRS through rust. Unit of measurement used is all in microns (μm).
• CRS was applied by a short-nop roller and allowed to cure and pass through various layers of tightly adhered intact rust
• Across 4 specimens, average penetration depth was 206 microns on varied thickness corrosion, but varied up to almost 300 microns
• Average time required to pass through rust to metal substrate in our tests: 4 hours
